What does a roaster actually do? During roasting, you go through three phases: the drying phase, the Maillard phase, and the development phase. Especially the latter makes or breaks the taste. A long development time gives dark, caramelized notes, while a short development time gives more acidity, complexity, and body. In this package, we keep the drying and Maillard phases as consistent as possible and only vary the development time across three coffees. Brew them side by side, and you'll taste exactly what choices the roaster makes, and what direction you can take a bean for espresso or filter.

Lightly roasted, it retains its acidity and floral notes. This requires a little more attention during brewing, which is why the brewing advice is provided above.

We roast every Tuesday and ship within 1 to 2 business days. Free shipping from € 45. Unopened bags can be returned within 14 days.
